I was asked to create artwork for an upcoming concert. I needed the artwork to express the exuberance and energy of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony, and also have a musical element. The final design includes the famous 4-note phrase, with the four syllables of "Bee-tho-ven's-fifth" subtly mimicking that.
